By visiting this website, booking a session, communicating via email, SMS/text, phone, or any other form of communication, or making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and willingly enter into, accept and agree to all terms, policies, and conditions outlined below.  Any interaction or agreement with Leah Claire or her team — whether in person, online, or via electronic communication — constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Payment & Refund Policy

• All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.

• Payments secure the specified time with Leah Claire (date, time, duration), not the service described.

• Full payment is required to book and confirm an appointment. (Parties and events require a non-refundable deposit.)

Why We Require Full Payment Upfront

All payments and scheduling are handled in advance to secure your appointment and your commitment to arrive at the time you’ve booked with Leah. All you have to do is arrive at the start of your session focused on having an open mind to receive what comes in. Leah's focus can stay entirely on you - your questions, your energy, and the guidance that comes through - without interruption. This way, you can relax and fully experience the soul connection of your reading.

We want to take a moment to explain why payment is required in full upfront, and why all payments are non-refundable. We want to be transparent and honest, because we value integrity in every session.  Full payment upfront allows Leah to focus entirely on sharing intuitive messages with you, rather than handling administrative tasks or processing payments during your session, taking time away from your receiving messages and instead spending it on payment processing. It's more time and value for the client if we spend that time in advance of your session with Leah. Over the years, we’ve also found that when clients pay in advance, they are more likely to arrive on time - helping Leah support each client fully throughout her day. While the administrative portion of the scheduling is necessary, we’ve created systems to ensure your experience is smooth, soulful, and stress-free.

Payments are non-refundable for several reasons. First, Leah’s time is limited and highly sought after. This policy protects both her and other clients from situations where a session is missed or unpaid. At the same time, we recognize that life happens, so we allow clients who book online to reschedule to a different date - not once, but twice - to give flexibility while still maintaining fairness for everyone.

Rescheduling Policy​

(Updated March 1, 2026, Valid for Bookings post 3/1/26)

We understand that life happens - work obligations, illness, family needs, and other unexpected events can arise. To help our clients who book online manage these situations, we provide the ability to reschedule up to two times, as long as it is done at least 24 hours before your session. This ensures that you can arrive ready, open, and fully present for your reading. Because of logistical considerations - such as scheduling rooms, accommodating waitlisted clients, and covering administrative costs - rescheduling must be completed directly by the client through the secure link in your confirmation email. Only you, the client, have access to this link, and our team cannot make changes on your behalf. Requests outside the allowed window, or attempts to reschedule more than twice, cannot be honored, and the original booking will stand. This system is designed to protect your experience, honor your commitment, and allow Leah to provide focused, uninterrupted guidance during your session, while balancing the needs of all clients.

We are always working to maintain a scheduling system that is fair, consistent, and respectful of every client’s reserved time. These guidelines are enforced automatically through our booking system.

1. Rescheduling Window - Up to 24 hours Before

• Bookings may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

• Each original booking may be rescheduled up to TWO (2) times.

• The second reschedule (resulting in a third scheduled date) is final and cannot be changed again.

• All rescheduled dates must occur within 60 days of the original booking date.

2. Reschedule Instructions

• Rescheduling must be completed directly by the client directly on our website using the secure rescheduling link included in the confirmation email sent from leahclairemedium@gmail.com.

• This link allows you to manage your booking in accordance with this policy.

• Rescheduling must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

• Rescheduling must be handled electronically by the client directly.

3. No Exceptions

Because we are often in session or traveling, we cannot respond to same-day requests, process manual changes, or override system restrictions. Requests made less than 24 hours before the booking start-time cannot be honored.

No exceptions for missed or invalid reschedule attempts. If a booking is missed, cancelled late, rescheduled after the allowed window, or rescheduled more than twice, the session will be forfeited.

All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If this policy is abused, the booking may be cancelled without refund.

4. Restrictions

Due to system limitations, rescheduling is not be available for bookings entered manually by staff (including waitlist placements).

Only bookings made directly by the client through LeahClaireMedium.com, using the link provided up to 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled. Please refer to the link in the confirmation email (check your spam folder).

No-Shows & Lateness​​

Leah is committed to providing each client with a meaningful, insightful session. She genuinely cares about her clients and strives to ensure that your time together is calm, focused, and packed with valuable guidance. We do everything possible to accommodate scheduling requests, but it is not always possible to extend session time due to scheduling constraints. Every client is important, and we work to ensure that one client’s session does not affect another’s. Therefore we have the following policies regarding lateness, end-times and add-ons.

• Please arrive early so your session can start on time. Virtual sessions may require a few minutes to log in or resolve technical issues. In-person sessions may be affected by traffic, parking, or check-in procedures. Any delays are the client’s responsibility. 

• Appointments start and end at the scheduled time. Payment secures the time with Leah Claire. We are not able to extend the end time of your session if you arrive late, regardless of the reason.  

• If additional time is desired, a separate session must be booked (subject to availability) and payment must be received before the additional time can be added.

• If client does not show on time, Leah will wait up to 15 minutes. After that, the appointment is considered a no-show, the appointment is cancelled and payment is forfeited.​​​​

Transfers, Additional Person(s), Group Readings​​

Leah is committed to creating a focused, respectful, and safe environment for every session. The work she does often involves personal details, emotional moments, and messages that may touch on the past, present, or future. Every person who attends a session naturally affects the energy, pacing, and flow of the reading. She strives to provide attention, care, and focus where it is most needed, while honoring the time each client has booked, which may be limited. In multi-person sessions, time may be dedicated to the participant who most needs it, and by booking a session, clients agree to this structure. To ensure that sessions remain fair, comfortable, and meaningful for everyone involved, the following policies are in place:

• Appointments, packages, courses, and workshops are non-transferable.

• Readings and past life regressions are for one person unless otherwise specified. To include 2 or 3 guests, you must book a specific multi-person service. For larger groups or in-home parties, please contact us directly.

• If you have booked a multi-person or group reading, you understand and agree that all attendees may hear information that could be personal or confidential in nature, and all participants fully accept the responsibility and risk in doing so. You and/or your representative(s) agree to release and hold harmless Leah Claire from any and all claims or liability arising out of or in connection with the session.

• Because sensitive information may be shared in group readings, we do not recommend them and encourage private individual readings whenever possible.

• Each additional person above what is specified must be approved at the time of booking and incurs a $95 fee per person (plus any applicable credit card fees). These fees are non-refundable and must be paid before the session begins.

• This fee reflects the additional energy, focus, and preparation required for each person attending. Every individual brings their own energy to the reading, including their own guides, loved ones in spirit, and personal messages. It may also cover the practical needs of conducting the session safely and effectively, such as room size, setup changes, and administrative preparation.

• If you arrive with more people than were booked, they may be turned away due to space, supplies, or schedule. Leah must carefully manage her energy and schedule in order to conduct readings responsibly. The nature of the session—whether life guidance (psychic) or mediumship (spirit communication)—also affects how the time is structured. Any time spent addressing unplanned attendees may reduce your scheduled session time, which cannot be extended.

• All attendees must be over 18, provide their first and last name, and sign a waiver before the session begins. Attendees who fail to do so may be denied admission, even if the $95 guest fee has been paid (non-refundable).

• All attendees are considered clients and acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Fees & Payment Processing​

Leah values each client and the work she does. Running a professional practice comes with unavoidable costs, including secure online payments and administrative support. Processing fees do not go to Leah - they are charged directly by credit card companies and are standard business practice in the U.S. The prices you see reflect the base service, with the processing fee added automatically in your total. We recently updated our prices for the first time in over three years. This adjustment helps keep the practice sustainable while maintaining the quality, care, and focus you receive in every session.

• Processing Fees: A 4.5% processing fee applies to all credit/debit card transactions. Venmo and Zelle are accepted on rare occasion. A 2% processing fee applies to Venmo payments coded as a purchase or business item. All processing fees are non-refundable.

• Payment Security: All payments made on LeahClaireMedium.com are processed securely through Wix Payments, the integrated payment processor for our website, on our behalf. Wix may require information such as name on card, billing address, or ZIP code to complete the transaction. This payment information is never shared with or stored by us, and we do not receive your personal billing information.

  For clients processing an order over the phone, via text, or in person, we can manually enter the payment on your behalf. However, we do not record, keep, or store your credit card or payment information at any time.

• Rare Refund Exceptions: All payments are non-refundable, but in rare instances where Leah must cancel a session (e.g., due to illness), a partial refund may be issued at Leah’s discretion, excluding all processing fees and subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

• Credit/debit card charges will appear on statements as LEAH CLAIRE – HOLISTIC AND SPIRITUAL HEALING.

Time Zone​

• All appointment times are listed in Eastern Time (EST/EDT).

• Clients are responsible for ensuring they attend at the correct time.

Note-Taking and Recording​

• In private readings, client is permitted to take notes during the session and take a recording of the AUDIO ONLY. Clients are restricted from recording video. Private readings are defined as a one-on-one session with Leah Claire without any others person(s) in ear shot.

• In semi-private or public readings no recordings are permitted of any kind to protect the privacy of all those involved or present. Semi-private readings are defined as a one-on-one session with one or more individuals within earshot or a group reading. Public readings are defined as a one-on-one or group session most likely taking place in (but not limited to) a setting accessible by the general public, or a gallery or platform reading. 

• All audio recordings and recordings of any kind are limited and restricted to personal use only. 

• Leah Claire is not responsible for and cannot control or prevent recordings made by other individuals during group readings or in semi-private or public environments, including private homes or event venues. Participation in these settings constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this possibility.

• Leah Claire does not give permission to post any recordings, pictures or video containing her likeness or voice to any outside source, third party, internet site or social media without expressed written permission.

• Leah Claire does not guarantee the recording will be 100% audible, fully intact, or usable. Leah Claire will not be responsible, nor issue a refund, for non-recording, defective or damaged recordings.

• The client gives permission to Leah Claire to use some of the session material in print or discussion.

• Leah Claire reserves the right to decline recording at any time.

Disclaimer

All services are provided in good faith in the capacity of a life coach. In accordance with NY State Law, no specific outcome, prediction, or result can be guaranteed. Sessions are intended for personal insight, guidance, and reflection in a spiritual and soulful capacity - not as a substitute for licensed professional advice or decision-making. All sessions are intended to support the client's own exploration , clarity, and growth.

Psychic parties are for entertainment purposes only. Private sessions with Leah are designed to provide meaningful guidance and personal growth. Clients are responsible for their own decisions and actions, and are encouraged to consult licensed professionals for medical, legal, financial, or mental health matters.

Leah does not work in the occult and does not attempt to influence or control spirits (living or passed), perform magic, spells, or exorcisms. All services are conducted ethically, transparently, and in good faith to support the client’s personal insight, reflection, and clarity.

Terms of Service​​​

• All services provided by Leah Claire, including mediumship, psychic readings, and intuitive guidance, are offered in the context of life coaching. These services are intended to provide spiritual and soul-centered guidance to support personal growth and insight.

• Services offered by Leah Claire are spiritual in nature and intended to provide soul-centered guidance and insight that support personal growth and healing.

• Sessions do not guarantee specific outcomes, predictions, or results.

• Spirit communication cannot be guaranteed or forced. For clients seeking mediumship, sessions are intended to create a compassionate and sacred space in which messages from loved ones in spirit may be received, if and as they come through. While connection, healing, and meaningful communication are the intention of the work, spirit communication and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as each session is unique and guided by free will, timing, and the nature of spirit communication.

• Free will, timing, and the nature of spirit communication affect outcomes. Just as clients have free will to arrive, speak, and interact in their session, spirit does as well. Some spirits may be stronger or more communicative than others.

• Insights and messages are offered as supportive perspective, not as absolute or factual certainty. Leah Claire does not claim to control events, influence outcomes, or override free will.

• All decisions, interpretations, and actions taken as a result of a session remain the sole responsibility of the client.

• Leah Claire is an intuitive life coach, not a licensed therapist, psychologist, medical doctor, financial advisor, or legal counsel and is not a substitution for such. It is recommended that you seek the advice of these legally licensed professionals whenever necessary. 

• Clients acknowledge that all decisions, interpretations, and actions taken as a result of a session are the client’s sole responsibility.

• Sessions are designed to provide guidance and messages for the client, not a guaranteed outcome.

• The success of the reading can depend on the client’s engagement, attitude/disposition, openness, defensiveness and willingness to communicate. For an effective reading, we suggest having an open mind, free of anxiety, and a willingness to validate messages as they come through. 

• If a client is unwilling to be open or participate, they acknowledge that the session’s outcome may be affected and accept full responsibility for the results.

• The client who requests and agrees to be read by Leah Claire acknowledges that the reading is a potentially powerful mental, physical, and spiritual tool.

• The client understands that personal results will vary and there are no expressed or implied guarantees or warranties of results.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leah Claire shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from any session or service.

• Any decisions made by the client based on information given, reviewed, or discussed in a reading are at the sole liability of the client and the client accepts 100% responsibility for their actions and decisions. 

• Any predictions made during the reading are based on the client’s current course of action and can change based on the client’s actions and circumstances as well as the actions or circumstances of anyone that clients interacts with. 

• It is understood that the reading is a guidance and requires client(s) to be open to the idea of what the reading is and pertains to for the reading to work and from time-to-time people are resistant to it which can affect the outcome of the successfulness of the reading. 

• Should the client be unwilling to be open or communicate, the client acknowledges and accepts responsibility for the outcomes of the session. 

• The client is aware that this is a spiritually based reading in nature and any information that comes through is coming messages received from spiritual sources outside of Leah Claire. 

• If the client receives information from the outside sources regarding any lifestyle changes or changes in their health protocols, the client takes full responsibility and will take it upon themselves to consult their healthcare provider if the client deems necessary after their session.

• The client voluntarily agrees to be a subject of a psychic and/or medium  session.

• Divination tools may be used at the sole discretion of Leah Claire, such as Tarot/Oracle cards, A Pendulum, Psychometry on personal objects or photographs, automatic writing, and crystals, etcetera. The client agrees to the use of these tools. 

• Leah Claire employs her intuitive abilities, and coaching techniques, as well as the use of Tarot Cards, Pendulums, Crystals, Automatic Writing, Remote Viewing, Psychometry and natural spiritual ability to facilitate the clients desire for self-improvement. Specific techniques may include body relaxation, guided meditation, hypnosis, NLP, past life regression, Reiki, behavior modification, and intuitive insight.  Confidentiality between Leah and her clients is one of the cornerstones of a strong working relationship. However, There are circumstances where the confidentiality break may be required without consent from the client such as where mandated by law, or the client is a danger to themself or another.

Professional Fit Clause​

Clients understand that sessions with Leah Claire are intended for individuals who are open to the process, respectful of the work, and willing to participate in a constructive and cooperative manner. These services may not be appropriate for everyone. Those seeking guaranteed outcomes, testing the process, attempting to control the session, or approaching the experience in a combative, hostile, or disruptive manner may be better served by other services.  Leah Claire reserves the right to determine whether a client or situation is an appropriate fit for this work.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Service​

Leah Claire reserves the right, at her sole discretion, to refuse or terminate any service, session, party, event, workshop, or class at any point, at any time, and for any reason without refund, including but not limited to situations where a client, subject, attendee, environment, or location is disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, unsanitary, hostile, threatening, intoxicated, emotionally volatile, uncooperative, distracting, or otherwise interferes with Leah’s ability to safely and effectively perform the session.

This includes, but is not limited to: pushing or testing stated boundaries, refusing to follow policies or instructions, arriving significantly late, using phones during the session, recording video or violating recording policies, bringing unapproved attendees, damaging or mishandling tools, equipment, or property, behaving in a verbally aggressive, insulting, argumentative, or inappropriate manner, or creating an environment that is energetically, physically, or professionally unsuitable for the work being conducted.

Leah Claire reserves full and sole discretion to end a session or leave a location immediately if necessary in order to protect the safety, well-being, professional standards, and working conditions of the session. Leah Claire reserves the right to a safe and clean work environment which includes a pet-and-pest-free, smoke-free, indoor space protected from the elements.  All payments remain non-refundable.​​​

​Force Majeure​

Leah Claire shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to provide services due to events beyond her reasonable control, including but not limited to: Natural disasters (floods, fires, earthquakes, storms); Illness or medical emergencies; Government restrictions, travel bans, or public health crises; Power outages, technical issues, or internet disruptions.  In the event of such circumstances, Leah Claire will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your session or provide alternative options, but payments are non-refundable. ​​​

Waiver of Liability​

• You verify that you are age 18 or over and verify that you have read and understood fully the refund policy, disclaimer, terms and conditions, note-taking and recording, and right to refuse policies above and you and/or your representatives agree fully.

• You and/or your representative(s) agree to fully release and hold harmless, Leah Claire, from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with your session.

• You understand and agree that should anyone overhear your reading, you take full responsibility and agree to fully release and hold harmless, Leah Claire, from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with confidential information being discussed in your session. ​​​

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the county of Nassau in the state of New York.

All prior oral or written representations, understandings and agreements had between the parties with respect to the subject matter are merged in these Terms and Conditions which alone fully and completely expresses the parties agreements.

Billing & Dispute Resolution​​

Please do not dispute a charge.  We aim to resolve billing concerns quickly and fairly.

Credit/debit card charges will appear on statements as LEAH CLAIRE – HOLISTIC AND SPIRITUAL HEALING.

By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree that all services are non-refundable and that any disputes must first be addressed directly with Leah Claire or her representatives. Disputes must be raised within 7–10 days of the charge.

Any concerns regarding completed charges should be addressed directly with our office before contacting your credit card company. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for a completed service without prior communication and attempt at resolution is considered a violation of these Terms & Conditions. In such cases, we reserve the right to deny future bookings and pursue appropriate remedies.​​​​​​
