What is a typical reading with Leah Claire like?
Every reading with Leah Claire is unique and tailored specifically to each client. First, it's important to decide whether you prefer a mediumship reading, where Leah communicates with a loved one who has passed away, or a psychic reading, which provides guidance from your guides and angels about your life. These two types of readings involve different energies, and Leah will channel sources accordingly.
Whether you seek insight into your past, present, or future, or are open to spirit communication, Leah ensures your comfort by discussing your preferences at the beginning of the reading. You can focus on any aspect of your life, whether it’s love, family, home, or career. Time flies during these enlightening sessions, so it's helpful to come prepared with questions that matter most to you!
In psychic readings, Leah may use Tarot or Oracle cards to enhance your experience. If you have personal items like photographs or jewelry that you would like her to read, please feel free to bring them (but please avoid electronics, ashes, or similar items). What is the recommended duration for a reading?
When selecting the best duration for your reading, it's essential to weigh a few important factors.
We recommend for any first-time clients with Leah that you book a 50-minute reading. We understand that this is not an option for everyone so we have put together the guidance below:

First, clarify whether you are seeking a mediumship reading involving spirit communication or a psychic reading aimed at life guidance. For mediumship readings, we highly recommend a duration of 50 minutes. Engaging in a conversation with a beloved spirit is a profound experience that deserves ample time. Unlike edited TV segments, the process of connecting with spirits and conveying their messages can take longer than you might expect.

When it comes to psychic readings focused on life guidance, consider several factors. Start by identifying how many questions you have about your life and prioritize them. Then, evaluate your budget. If your situation is intricate, your guides and angels may have extensive insights to share. Generally, if you have 3-4 questions, a 50-minute session is ideal. If you only have 1-2 questions, a 25-minute reading may be sufficient.

We advise against a 15-minute reading for mediumship sessions. Similarly, 15-minute psychic readings often lack the depth needed to explore significant questions thoroughly. We understand that budgeting can be a challenge, and if a 15-minute session is your only option, it's vital to recognize that complex inquiries may not receive the attention they require. Additionally, Leah often has back-to-back readings, which may limit your time to process the information provided. Therefore, we recommend booking at least 25 minutes to ensure a meaningful and insightful experience.
Can we do a couples, joint or group reading?
Yes, Léah Claire does offer group readings. While sharing a session may feel appealing, we generally recommend an individual reading for the most meaningful and focused experience. That said, if you prefer to include two or more people, you can easily book a group session directly on the site. If you’ve already booked a one-person reading, you may contact us to add an additional participant for a fee of $95 per person.
It’s important to understand that shared readings can bring forward private or sensitive messages from your guides or loved ones in spirit. These insights may not be something you wish to disclose in front of others. Léah Claire cannot take responsibility for any personal or confidential information that comes through during a group session—the client assumes full responsibility for any shared revelations. If you have any concerns about sensitive topics arising, we strongly encourage you to book an individual reading instead.
Please also note that in a group reading, there is no guarantee each person will receive equal time. Léah Claire works with the energy and messages as they come through, which can result in uneven focus among participants. Your comfort and peace of mind are always the top priority.
Each person brings their own unique energy, which can lead to deeply personalized messages from their guides or loved ones in spirit. This process is energetically demanding, which is why there is an additional charge for multiple participants. We encourage you to choose the option that feels best for you to ensure a meaningful experience. For groups of four or more — home visits are available. Can we have our teenager have a reading, if we are present and give permission?
Minors and children are not eligible for readings. To ensure a responsible and meaningful experience, the minimum age requirement is 18 years or older.
Can Leah guarantee spirit messages from the one that I want to connect to?
While Léah Claire connects clients with their dearly departed loved ones every day, it’s important to understand that there are no guarantees a specific spirit will choose to communicate. However, there are effective ways to enhance the likelihood of making a meaningful connection.
To better illustrate this, imagine a party filled with different personalities. Some guests are outgoing and eager to engage, while others are quieter, waiting for the right moment to step forward. Some may hesitate because they don’t want to intrude or cause emotional discomfort for the guest of honor. This dynamic closely mirrors what can happen during a reading. Spirits maintain an energetic bond with their loved ones on Earth and generally do wish to connect. However, it’s important to recognize that the exact spirit you’re hoping for may not always be the one who comes through. Another soul may step forward instead if their energetic essence emerges more strongly in that moment, helping shape the direction of the session. Just as in life, a soul’s personality and energetic nature remain the same after passing—some spirits may be shy, protective, or gently overshadowed by more expressive souls eager to communicate.
Spirits also possess free will and may choose not to engage for a variety of reasons. Just as Léah Claire cannot force a client to reach out to a specific spirit, those on the other side also exercise their autonomy. That said, there are several powerful techniques that can help foster a connection, especially if a loved one remains quiet at first. Items that belonged to your loved one or held special meaning often carry their energetic imprint. Léah Claire can tune into the energy within these items to help bridge the gap and facilitate communication. We strongly encourage you to bring jewelry, photographs, or other meaningful keepsakes, as these personal treasures can greatly deepen and strengthen the connection during your reading.
Additionally, spirits can energetically bring forward other spirits. It is quite common for one loved one in spirit to step in and introduce another to help facilitate communication.

Can I record my session?
In private readings, client is permitted to take notes during the session and take a recording of the AUDIO ONLY, however all clients are restricted from recording video of the sessions (it's better for your phone memory anyway!). All audio recordings and recordings of any kind are limited and restricted to personal use only. Leah Claire does not give permission to post any recordings, pictures or video containing her likeness or voice to any outside source, third party, internet site or social media without expressed written permission.

Spirit energy can affect, interfere with and even malfunction electronics. Please note, if you use your electronics during a reading to record the session, they could become damaged. Leah Claire does not guarantee the recording will be 100% audible, fully intact, or usable. Leah Claire will not be responsible, nor issue a refund, for non-recording, defective or damaged recordings.

In a semi-private or public reading, no recordings are permitted of any kind to protect the privacy of all those involved or present.
Private readings are defined as a one-on-one session with Leah Claire without any others person(s) in ear shot. Semi-private readings are defined as a one-on-one session with one or more individuals within earshot. Public readings are defined as a one-on-one or group session most likely taking place in (but not limited to) a setting accessible or attended by the general public.
Is there parking at your offices?
Yes! Both Huntington and Roslyn have free parking for your convenience.

In Huntington, please be sure to park in spots designated for the Long Island Healing Arts and Learning Center. They are located behind the building.

In Roslyn, we have a free parking lot in front of the building. Please park in designated spots that are NOT numbered or reserved. Should the lot be full, there is a municipal lot next to it with metered parking spaces.

How do I prepare for my reading?
No preparation is required for readings. However, some clients prefer to come prepared with photos or objects to have Leah read the person they belong to. It is a way for Leah to hone in on their specific energy.

If you are seeing Leah for a Past Life Regression, it is recommended to have an intention for what you want to learn in your past life (even if it is just to get to know yourself on the deepest level). It is also recommended to practice mindfulness and meditation to have an even greater chance at a successful experience.
We would like to have a reading done in our house, is this an option?
How will the charge appear on my credit card statement?
Yes - you can have a reading in your house! Leah can meet with you and your family or friends in a home setting. The pricing will be different than what is listed under our services section due to travel time.
